VP of Human Resources and Legal Activities
Kerri Langoni Carpenter began her tenure at San Juan College as Senior Director of Human Resources in January of 2016. She was promoted to Associate Vice President in 2017, and to Vice President of Human Resources and Legal Activities in 2021. Langoni Carpenter has also served as an adjunct professor for San Juan College, teaching Human Resources Management and Business Law. At San Juan College, she oversees all Human Resources functions at the College, manages the College’s legal affairs, and oversees the Center for Student Careers and Employment.
Prior to accepting her position at San Juan College, Langoni Carpenter worked for the Montana School Boards Association with school boards across the state of Montana performing executive searches, conducting investigations, training boards in best practices, and assisting school districts with collective bargaining negotiations. While in law school, Langoni Carpenter completed an externship with the University of Montana general counsel’s office.
Langoni Carpenter is originally from Durango, Colorado, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fort Lewis College, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Montana.
